40 defenders of Zmiinyi Island, also known as Snake Island, return home from captivity

This was reported by the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets on Telegram.

"Currently, there are 40 Ukrainians among the defenders of Zmiinyi Island at home. The return of each of them is a painstaking and colossal work that requires patience and maximum effort. We keep in touch with their families and do our best to ensure that Ukrainians are back on their land. Everyone's life is valuable to us," he said in a statement.

Battles for Bakhmut: Russian troops suffer heavy losses

Russian troops launched 32 attacks near Bakhmut yesterday, more than 90 Russian soldiers were eliminated. This was reported by the spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Serhiy Cherevaty.

According to Cherevaty, 91 Russian soldiers were killed and 119 were injured.

"Their tank, a Grad MLRS and 3 field ammunition depots were destroyed," he added.

Activities of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate (UOC MP) banned in Khmelnytskyi region

The Khmelnytskyi Regional Council has adopted a decision banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) in the region. 

This is stated in the press service of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council.

The report states that the deputies unanimously adopted a decision to "ensure the strengthening of national security in the field of freedom of conscience and activities of religious organizations in the Khmelnytskyi region", which prohibits the activities of the UOC (MP).

Also, by this decision, the Regional Council instructed local governments to make an inventory of all lands used by the UOC (MP), with subsequent seizure of these lands by adopting appropriate decisions.

In addition, the deputies appealed to the government to terminate lease agreements with religious organizations that do not comply with Ukrainian law.

The Ukrainian movie "Mavka. The Forest Song" becomes the favourite of the French viewing audience

The Ukrainian animated film "Mavka. The Forest Song" was released in France on March 29 and in less than a week of screenings took the first position among the views.

The State Film Agency reported the information.

"The animated film was released in Ukrainian cinemas on March 2, and on March 29 it was released on the big screens of French cinemas," the press service writes.

According to the first day of distribution, "Mavka. The Forest Song" in France took the first position among all premiere releases, beating even the blockbuster “Shazam! Fury of the Gods.”

Ukrainian aviation launches 7 strikes on Russian troops

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The aviation of the Ukrainian defense forces launched 7 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel over the day, and the Ukrainian units of missile troops and artillery struck 2 Russian control points and an electronic warfare station.
