The US will continue to provide Ukraine with new large-scale assistance packages to ensure its victory in confronting Russian aggression

White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre made the statement on Wednesday during a briefing in Washington, Ukrinform reports.

The White House spokeswoman stressed that the US will continue to stand with Ukraine as long as it takes and has been very clear and consistent on this issue. The US is quick in supporting Ukraine with the tools necessary to win the war.

She reminded that last week the Biden administration announced the largest package of assistance to Ukraine under the President's powers amounting to about USD 3 billion.

Jean-Pierre stated that the US will continue its support and stand with Ukraine as long as they need it.

On January 6, the White House announced a new defense support package for Ukraine worth more than USD 3 billion. It includes, among other things, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled howitzers, missile weapons, ammunition and other military assistance.
