US promises Ukraine air defense in response to massive Russian attack
The White House says that Russia's attempts to demoralize the Ukrainian people with missile strikes will fail, and that the US will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine, including air defense
This is reported by CNN.
“These strikes are another example of the brutal and barbaric war Russia is waging. The United States will continue to provide Ukraine with what it needs to defend itself, including air defense systems, along with our allies and partners – and we will continue our work to hold Russian forces accountable for their war crimes and atrocities. Russia continues to underestimate the strength and resolve of the Ukrainian people, and these latest attempts to demoralize them will fail yet again,” a spokesperson for the US National Security Council said.
