US military complex works better than ever: Pentagon has never supplied weapons and equipment with such speed - lawmaker Rybachuk

Oleg Rybachuk, Ukrainian lawmaker and public figure, head of the Centre for Joint Action is convinced that the Ukrainian army will not just declaratively move to NATO standards, but will fully own the same military arsenal as the West

He expressed this opinion in his live interview with Espreso.

"The US Lend-Lease program will allow Ukraine not to seek money, but to receive equipment immediately. I must say that the US military-industrial complex is now working at full capacity and the Americans said that by the end of June we will receive MRLs that will shock the Russian military. There will be four systems for now, but then there will be the same story as with the Javelins, when they first give a certain amount of modern equipment, then watch how Ukrainians use it and then the mass production starts," the politician explained.

Oleg Rybachuk noted that for Ukraine it does not matter whether it is a lend-lease or not in terms of what we receive. The Americans give both credit and financing, and supply weapons not from the lend-lease program, and this does not stop the US military-industrial complex, which has physical limitations. There has been no such need or order for weapons in the world since the Second World War.

"We have already taken out and fired all Soviet era weapons, which means that the Ukrainian army is not just declaratively moving to NATO standards, but the Ukrainian army will have the same military arsenal as the West. And Boris Johnson's proposal to train 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers in the UK means that we will have modern weapons, trained Ukrainian military, so we are, in fact, a NATO army," - said Rybachuk.

The politician noted that there is another problem for Americans. We are used to saying that the United States is a presidential country, but Congress and the Senate don’t have the last word. Therefore, the Congress and the Senate have made a serious claim to the Pentagon to report on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Accordingly, a couple of days ago we saw a long list when the Pentagon reported every single unit..

"And that's important to us because the US Congress wants to see the effectiveness of military support. It may have slowed supplies a bit, but it's obvious that the Pentagon has never been able to use funding and supply weapons so quickly. Clearly, that needs to be changed, but our progress here  is obvious" - Oleg Rybachuk assured.
