US HIMARS systems enable Ukrainian Armed Forces to neutralize Russian ammunition depots - Poroshenko on MSNBC

Poroshenko noted: Putin's words that he "has not yet started anything serious in Ukraine" are not addressed to Ukrainians.  That is why the Ukrainian army needs the most modern weapons as soon as possible to stop Putin, emphasizes the fifth president.

"This is not a signal for Ukraine at all. After all, Putin is already doing everything he can, attacking Ukraine along the 4,000-kilometer front line. This is his signal to the entire Free World. And it is a signal to the United States. After all, literally at the same time as him, the Speaker of the Russian Parliament Volodin  said, why not raise the issue of Alaska. This is exactly what we talk about all the time. This war is not against Ukraine. This war is against our Free World. And that is why we need the unity of the anti-Putin coalition so much," he explains  Poroshenko.

"Putin is evil. He kills tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians. And he will definitely not stop until we stop him. Our appeal is that he should be stopped in Ukraine. So help us do your work as well," he says.  Poroshenko.

"It is vitally necessary today to ensure the transfer of new types of weapons to Ukraine. This is a war of drones. A war of artillery. A war of radio-electronic resistance. Our use of Himars systems is already helping to solve another big problem. Russia uses up to 60 thousand projectiles every day. And even more: that  what NATO cannot produce in a year, Russia uses against us in a week," states Petro Poroshenko.

"And that's why we are now attacking Russian artillery arsenals using Himars fire systems, which is already a very effective tactic to stop Russia. Only during the last three days we did this in the Kakhovsky direction in the Kherson region, on Shakhtarsky in the Donetsk region,  and stopped the Russian offensive," Poroshenko recalled.

"Ukraine is able to expel Russians from every square meter of Ukrainian land. We have an example of this in 2014-2019, when we were able to liberate 2/3 of the Russian-occupied territories of Donbas. And then we used only defensive weapons. However, now we have completely different Armed Forces, which we created on the basis of NATO standards. We have learned our lessons and have a strong motivation. This is our land. We defend our own people. We defend freedom, democracy. And we also defend our choice regarding our own future to return to the European family. But Russia has no motivation," Petro Poroshenko sums up.
