US Department of State responds to Russia's massive attack on Ukraine on March 9
The US and allies will work to ensure that Russia's missile and air attacks on Ukraine do not become the norm
US Department of State spokesman Ned Price made the statement at a briefing, commenting on the massive Russian attack on Ukraine.
"It is also the fact that these types of strikes – Russia has tried to make them the new normal… So our charge is to work with the allies and partners around the world to make clear that this can’t be normal. We cannot become numb to this," he emphasized.
The spokesman noted that it has been only a few weeks since the last time Russia launched large-scale attacks on peaceful cities of Ukraine, on warehouses with agricultural products, on energy and other critical infrastructure. And this shows Russia’s level of cruelty.
