Underground kindergarten equipped in subway to be opened in Kharkiv
An underground kindergarten will start operating in Kharkiv after the New Year. It will be set up at subway stations where schoolchildren are already studying

This decision was made by the Kharkiv City Council on December 4.
"Training in the subway in groups for older preschool children with a short stay will begin on January 6, 2024," the statement reads.
The kindergarten will operate at 5 metro stations.
- In Kharkiv, 17 40-square-meter classrooms with air recuperation and noise insulation, desks and necessary equipment were equipped at 5 metro stations. In total, 60 classes for more than a thousand students were formed.
- In early November, it was reported that a school is being built underground in the village of Korotych, Kharkiv district. It is planned that the school will be able to accommodate up to 500 children and teachers.
