Activists walked along Broadway - from 4 km. From Times Square to Washington Park. Artur Zgurov, one of the organizers of the event, explained that they want to remind the world that the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine continues.
"The war continues - we should not get tired of repeating it, and together we should do everything in our power to end it," the Consul General of Ukraine in New York, Oleksiy Golubov, noted, adding that Ukraine cannot seize its territories to exchange for peace.
Jakub Kulhanek, the permanent representative of the Czech Republic at the UN, also took part in the action. He noted that his country fully supports Ukraine.
"After all, Ukrainians are fighting not only for their freedom, but also for us. That's why this support is so important for the Czech Republic," he emphasized.
Jakub Kulhanek noted that Czech politicians and society are unanimous on the issue of supporting Ukraine.
"We don't just want Ukraine to win - we need it. That's why we actively help in the humanitarian sphere and with the supply of weapons," the diplomat emphasized.
