224 clashes occur at front on Nov. 26: Russian forces focus on Ukraine's Pokrovsk direction

This was reported in the General Staff's morning update on November 27.

According to updated information, Russian forces launched one missile strike targeting Ukrainian units and settlements, alongside 45 airstrikes, including the use of 76 guided bombs. They also carried out over 4,000 attacks, with 142 coming from multiple rocket launch systems, and deployed around 1,300 'kamikaze' drones.

Airstrikes were reported near Bilovody, Spaske in the Sumy region; Pytomnyk, Vysoka Yaruha, Kurylivka in the Kharkiv region; Ivanivka, Lyman, Zarichne, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Katerynivka, Kramatorsk, Zelene, Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Uspenivka, and Komar in the Donetsk region; and Pavlivka, Mala Tokmachka, Temyrivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian aviation, missile troops, and artillery conducted nine strikes on Russian troop and ammunition concentrations.

Frontline situation

Kharkiv direction: Five Russian attacks were recorded near Vovchansk, with heavy use of bomber aircraft.

Kupyansk direction: Russian forces launched 18 attacks, but their assaults near Hryhorivka, Zelenyi Hai, Zahryzove, Senkove, Kolisnykivka, Synkivka, and Andriivka were pushed back.

Lyman direction: There were 21 attacks in total, including failed advances near Hrekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Terny, and Torske.

Siversk direction: Russian troops attempted one assault near Hryhorivka but were repelled.

Kramatorsk direction: Thirteen attacks targeted areas around Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Bila Hora, and Predtechyne but were unsuccessful.

Toretsk direction: Russian forces carried out six attacks near Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, and Toretsk, with heavy use of bomber aircraft.

Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian defenders blocked 59 assault and offensive actions, particularly near Myrolyubivka, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka, Dachenske, Chumatske, Pustynka, Novyi Trud, and Promin, where the heaviest fighting occurred.

Kurakhove direction: Ukrainian forces repelled 46 assaults. Russian troops concentrated on areas around Dachne, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Hannivka, Antonivka, Berestky, Zori, and Sontsivka while launching airstrikes on settlements.

Vremivka direction: Seventeen assaults were reported near Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, Rozdolne, Novoandriivka, Veselyi Hai, Rozlyv, and Rivnopil.

Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions: No offensive operations were recorded, but Russian forces relied on aviation.

Kherson direction: Ukrainian troops repelled five Russian attacks near their positions and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy.

No signs of Russian offensive groups were detected along the Belarus border. 

However, artillery and airstrikes continue along the Chernihiv and Sumy borders, with 263 artillery attacks, including five from multiple rocket launch systems, and 22 airstrikes reported in the past day.

• The Russian army suffered significant losses yesterday, with 1,580 soldiers killed, 14 tanks destroyed, and 64 drones eliminated.
