Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed two Russian UAVs worth more than 1 million euros with Stinger and Starstreak MANPADS
On April 19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down Russian Orlan-10 drones with Stinger and Starstreak MANPADS, as well as Horizon Air S-100, which costs at least 1 million euros
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Over the past 24 hours, air defense units of the DShV of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down two Russian UAVs - Horizon Air S-100 and Orlan-10. They were hit by Stinger and Starstreak portable air defense systems", the statement says.
Anti-aircraft missile units of the DShV continue to shoot down the expensive means of aerial reconnaissance of the invaders.
"In particular, the price of the Russian Horizon Air S-100 UAV (manufactured in Rostov-on-Don under license) starts from one million euros", the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.
Air defense DShV fully controls the airspace in the lanes of responsibility.
