Ukrainian defender shares how they are greeted on de-occupied territories
Former Ukrainian MP, currently the commander of Stugna anti-tank guided missile systems, Tetiana Chornovol shared footage from the de-occupied Beryslav, Kherson region
Chornovol published footage from Beryslav on Facebook.
The former parliamentarian was one of the first to arrive in Beryslav as part of the 72nd Detached Mechanized Brigade.
"I almost got kissed to death. Yes, that’s one of the threats. It happened so that we were the first to enter Beryslav. We had to load all the flowers we got into a pickup truck. A full pickup truck of flowers. People came out timidly at first, and then the word spread. People were blocking traffic just to touch us, to make sure that it's their people, that it's not a dream... Eight terrible sleepless months...", Tetiana Chornovol wrote.
“This poor quality video is a piece of history. It’s only 10 km from here to Beryslav. And then Dnipro. And then Kakhovka, which opens the road to Crimea. I have taken that road many times. That road is special. Glory to Ukraine!” she comments in the video.
