Ukrainian Armed Forces autumn campaign to end on Dnipro riverbank in Kherson region, on Oskil's riverbank in Kharkiv region - military expert
Ukraine's Armed Forces will complete an offensive operation on the banks of the Oskil River in the Kharkiv region and on the banks of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region
Military expert Pavlo Narozhnyi told about this on Espreso TV.
"I think that in the Izyum direction, we will establish ourselves on the banks of the Oskil River and on part of the Siverskyi Donets. Then there will be some penetrations, but they will be relatively small. What we see in Sviatohirsk, when the city is on two banks of the river. We were on the one bank and now they came and cleared the city. I don't think we will go further. Why so? The answer is very simple. If we cross the river, we don't have an action plan for where we are going next," he said.
According to the expert, the Ukrainian military can't just come and stand on the river bank.
"We will repeat the story of the Russian encirclement in Izyum. When they entered and could not make any progress in their offensive. It will be that our troops entered, stood and the Russian army with artillery and aviation was in front of them, and behind them was a water obstacle. We will storm Kherson, we will reach the bank of the Dnipro and establish ourselves there. This will be the end of our autumn offensive operation, and some development will continue only in the winter," Narozhnyi concluded.
