Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reacts to secret US document leak
Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar reacted to the leak of secret US documents
This is reported by Radio Svoboda.
According to Hanna Maliar, if military operations are planned in Ukraine, only a select few individuals are privy to the planning of such special operations, thereby minimizing the risk of leaks. “The risk exists, we can’t deny it (as there are technical means of obtaining information), but such incidents have not occurred from our side. However, if the issue is known to a larger number of people, security measures are implemented, but the risk of a leak always remains,” she said.
Maliar cited the examples of the Armed Forces' actions during the de-occupation of the Kharkiv and Kyiv regions.
“No one discussed it beforehand, and the soldiers quietly carried out their tasks,” she added.
