Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski believes that money given to Ukrainian refugees in Germany should go directly to Ukraine

As reported by RMF24, the minister shared this idea with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, suggesting that the social payments, which can be as much as 1,200 euros per month, would be better used in Ukraine.
Sikorski pointed out that “it's not right that financial support encourages people to stay in Germany instead of men fighting on the front lines”. He also stated that women should work in Ukraine, pay taxes, and support the economy.
Currently, Germany has the highest number of Ukrainian refugees, followed by Poland and the Czech Republic.
- Norway will stop automatically granting asylum to all Ukrainian refugees. From now on, asylum applications from refugees from western Ukraine will be considered on an individual basis.
