Ukraine exports 24.4 million tons of agricultural products through "grain corridor"
Since the start of the "grain deal" in August 2022, Ukraine has exported 24.4 million tons of food to Asia, Europe and Africa
The Ministry of Infrastructure informed about this.
"Since August 1, 2022, 24.4 million tons of Ukrainian food was exported from the ports of Odesa to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa; almost half a million tons of food was exported to the poorest countries in the world in partnership with the UN WFP," the institution noted.
It is reported that the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov, held talks with the Deputy Executive Director of the UN World Food Program, Ramiro Lopes da Silva, and the authorized representative and director of WFP in Ukraine, Matthew Hollingworth.
"We discussed the task of demining a large part of agricultural land and investments in the industry. Restoring Ukraine's agricultural potential is a condition for stabilizing the humanitarian situation in the world," Oleksandr Kubrakov commented.
