Two NASAMS systems are already in Ukraine - Pentagon
US Defense Department spokesperson, Brigadier General Patrick Ryder, confirmed on Tuesday that Ukraine received two NASAMS air defense systems

"As part of the arms transfer process, we also provided training for Ukrainians in operating and maintaining these weapons. They recently completed the training, which took place in Europe," Ryder said at the briefing.
The Pentagon spokesman added that the two NASAMS systems "are already in Ukraine and operational."
The United States has committed a total of eight NASAMS systems to Ukraine amid its war with Russia. The other six air defense systems are not expected to be delivered soon, according to Pentagon officials.
