Total number of children wounded in combat actions in Ukraine increases
In Ukraine, as of January 10, 2023, at least 879 children were injured as a result of Russia's armed aggression. 453 children were killed
Such data was provided by the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the report, more than 1332 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
"As of the morning of January 10, 2023, the official number of child victims during the day has not changed - 453. The number of wounded has increased - more than 879," the Prosecutor General’s Office noted.
"These figures are not final. Work continues to establish them in the areas of hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories," they added.
According to the report, most children were injured in Donetsk region - 429, Kharkiv region - 269, Kyiv region - 117, Kherson region - 83, Mykolaiv region - 82, Zaporizhzhia region - 81, Chernihiv region - 68, Luhansk region - 65, Dnipropetrovsk region- 40.
Russian enemy also damaged 3126 educational institutions by shelling, 337 of them were completely destroyed.
- On January 9, a two-year-old boy was wounded in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, as a result of a rocket attack by Russian occupants.
