Terror of civilians continues: in Melitopol, Kadyrov's nephew will control local authorities
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov's nephew has arrived in temporarily occupied Melitopol, and he will monitor local authorities
Ivan Fedorov, mayor of Melitopol, reports live on air of united TV channel.
According to him, Russian troops increase their groups in the southern district of the Zaporizhzhia region. They are settled in both houses and apartments. In addition, new authorities are starting to arrive.
"Now they say that new tourer arrived this week, who is Kadyrov's nephew, and the city is discussing that he is another "supervisor" from Kadyrov," Fedorov said.
He clarified that Kadyrov's nephew is connected with agricultural sphere and was previously head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Chechnya. Fedorov does not rule out that he came to rob grain from local farmers.
"They stole combines earlier, and then supplier of combines saw that they were in Chechnya," the mayor said.
In his opinion, the main task of "supervisor" is to control local authorities, whom even Russian occupying forces do not trust.
"They were brought allegedly to 'share experience of the establishment of the republic'. This means: to ensure that money goes exclusively into the right pocket, to rob industry, to give nightmares to civil population," Fedorov said.
