Tank battles continue in Izyum direction, local residents, inspired by Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes, drive Russian invaders out of their houses - Ihor Sabii
The deputy commander of the Karpatska Sich Battalion Ihor Sabii says that the invading Russian forces are trying to prevent the Ukrainian Armed Forces' advance, but they face significant problems with the ammunition supply, so cannot rely on artillery as before.
He said this on Espreso TV.
"Karpatska Sich, the 49th Detached Battalion of the Freedom Legion, continues to conduct active combat operations in the Izyum direction. First of all, powerful tank battles are taking place, and we are burning enemy tanks. In turn, the occupiers are trying to prevent our advance and to keep the seized territories, but they have significant problems with the supply of ammunition. Accordingly, they cannot use artillery, as before, that is why tank duels are taking place," the deputy commander of the Karpatska Sich Battalion said.
Ihor Sabii told interesting information from the intercepted conversations of the Russian occupiers that they are already complaining that in the temporarily Russia-occupied villages, local residents, inspired by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes, drive the Russians out of their houses. And the Russian soldiers are in such a confused state that they do not even resist people and move out of their houses.
"We also have information that many of the occupiers change into civilian clothes and flee. The enemy's moral and psychological state is very difficult. The Russian invaders understand that defeat is coming. There is also no ammunition, they regret that they have one or two cartridges left for machine guns, and they have nowhere to wait for help," Sabii added.
