Situation with electricity supply is difficult, but controlled - Serhii Kovalenko
YASNO Director General Serhii Kovalenko says that energy facilities in Kyiv, Vinnytsia and Odesa regions were the most affected in the latest missile attack
He said this on Espreso TV.
“After the last missile attack on Ukraine by the Russian forces, the situation with electricity supply is critical, but under control. Every day we see reports from the authorities about repair work. As for specific regions, Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Odesa regions were the most affected,” Kovalenko said.
The director general of YASNO electricity supplier also commented on the situation with electricity supply in the city of Kyiv.
“In Kyiv, the electricity deficit for consumers is more than 30%. The entire infrastructure of the city is revived and works in the usual mode. Therefore, 70% of the electricity supply for the city is already better than it was a few days ago. However, I would like to point out that there is a local problem in the areas of the left bank of the Dnipro River in the city of Kyiv. There, even after the 7th rocket attack, repairs continue at two communal facilities,” he added.
