Situation in Russia may shift from killings of propagandists to officials who are not protected – Russian oppositionist Feygin

The flywheel of murders and terrorist attacks on media personalities can reach Russian officials, who are not protected by anyone

This was stated by Russian opposition member, Mark Feygin, on Espreso TV.

"As for the murder of Tatarsky himself, to tell you the truth, it remains unclear, any version may have a basis, and they may also overlap. That is, it is not at all necessary: some people wanted to kill him, while others were watching it. Therefore, it is quite possible to assume that each of the consequences of this event will have its own benefits," he believes.

Feygin added that the federal security service is already providing protection for Simonyan and Kiselyov.

"It is clear: when some media persons are of interest to the FSB, so that they write as they should and do what they should, what better tool can be invented than this, dear, we are protecting you, and we can also remove the protection, and then everything is possible," the oppositionist emphasized.

He noted that along with the hot war, there is also an information war – it exists and it gives results.

"Of course, both sides are fighting, and the Russian opposition is also involved in this information war, and it is also participating. They can choose their targets quite arbitrarily, but the problem lies in the response: you do something and you get a response. This flywheel is then difficult to stop. It will logically come from the military correspondents, who are not pitied, to be honest: Moscow does not feel sorry for them, to officials, that is, to officials who have absolutely no protection in Russia – you cannot give them all bodyguards," Feygin summarized.

  • On Sunday, April 2, an explosion occurred in St. Petersburg at a "recital" of propagandist Vladlen Tatarsky, 32 people were injured.

  • The National Republican Army claimed responsibility for the murder of Tatarsky, a military correspondent and propagandist, and they also reported that assassination of Dugina (a daughter of Russian nationalist) had also been organized by them.
