Explosion in St. Petersburg cafe kills Russian military propagandist Tatarsky: number of victims increases to 32

His death is confirmed by the Russian state news agencies RIA Novosti and TASS, as well as the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As of the morning of April 3, it is known about 32 victims who received mine-explosive injuries and burns. 10 of them are in serious condition.

The cafe is currently surrounded. Traffic on the embankment near the facility is not blocked.

The cafe is associated with the owner of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin. However, his press service claims that the cafe used to belong to Prigozhin, then he transferred the establishment to the Cyber Z Front propaganda movement.

Preliminarily, the cause of the explosion was a terrorist attack.

According to the Russian media, the explosive device was allegedly planted in the statuette presented to the propagandist by a girl unknown to Tatarsky at this meeting.

Vladlen Tatarsky (real name – Maxim Fomin) was born in 1982 in the Ukrainian city of Horlivka.

In 2011, he was imprisoned for bank robbery.

He served his sentence in the Horlivka colony.

During the Russian invasion in 2014, he sided with the Russian invaders and fought against the Ukrainian army.

Subsequently, he became a military propagandist ("correspondent").
