Scope and timing of new military aid package shows that White House trust in Ukraine has grown - diplomat Chaly
Valery Chaly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States from 2015 to 2019, believes that, in parallel with the allocation of financial aid, the new military package is a huge gesture of support from the US
He shared the statement on Espreso.
"This is the 18th package of military aid, the volume and time of receipt of which indicate an increase in the White House's trust in Ukraine. This is a very good signal of support for Ukraine from the United States not only by faith, but by a clear calculation of our victory," the diplomat noted.
Valery Chaly emphasized that the new package of military aid has a huge volume, given that it contains a significant amount of ammunition, and this is very important for this stage of our military campaign, because the partners have listened to our needs for ammunition.
"This is also important because a lot will be determined in a period of one or two months, both regarding the duration of the hot phase of the war and what we may succeed in the near future. I think that next to the allocation of financial aid, a new military package is a huge gesture of support on the part of the U.S.," Chaly concluded.
