Saltivka district in Kharkiv is not much different from Aleppo or Grozny, this is a small Mariupol within the city - Debely

"Just yesterday one of the shells, just in the afternoon, hit the playground, there were dead. These attacks give the invader the opportunity to pretend that it is entrenched in the Kharkiv region. It does not leave attempts to capture the city, but it has no chance, this is just due to their imperialist thinking: "Kill everyone, break everyone, we will win, we will enter, everyone will respect us". But no, these times are long gone, the Kharkiv residents realized what kind of aggressor is against us, and therefore the invader has no chance", Debely said.

 

He also added that there is information that the main invader forces will be sent to the Kharkiv region.

 

But Ukrainian fighters are more than ready to meet them. Meet those who could not take Kyiv. For some reason, they think they can do something here. But this is not the case, they will not accept Kyiv, Kharkiv, or any other Ukrainian city", Debely emphasized.

 

Also, the fighter explained about the destruction: “It's hard to say, in terms of percentage. We know from the figures published by the City Council, that these are more than a thousand buildings.  Driving through the city, you can understand where it “arrived”, and where it didn't. There really are districts, micro districts, where you can drive several hundred meters and not understand, in general, that there is a war. And you get to other areas and see a terrible picture. If we talk about Saltivka and Pivnichna Saltivka, then it is not much different from the same Aleppo or Grozny, a sort of small Mariupol within the city of Kharkiv. Indeed, there is a lot of destruction, but it cannot be said that the entire city is destroyed and the invader will answer for every destroyed building", he added.
