Russia's night assault: about 10 Su-35s attack Sumy region, UAVs attack Kryvyi Rih, X-59 missiles shot down in Odesa region
Ukrainian Air Force Command spokesman Yuriy Ihnat tells about the night attack of the Russian army, about 10 Su-35 aircraft attacked Sumy region, Iranian-made ‘Shaheds’ attacked Kryvyi Rih
Ihnat said this during a telethon.
"It all probably started in the evening when the enemy attacked Odesa region. Two X-59 missiles were destroyed. The attack also continued from the north of our country, about 10 Su-35 aircraft, the latest Russian fighter jets, attacked Sumy region with guided aerial bombs, which we mentioned during the telethon. This is an extremely big threat when guided aircraft bombs, planning bombs can fly far away, and the aircraft are not within the range of our air defense. This is a powerful weapon," says Ihnat.
A spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command said that the Russian forces launched more than 10 guided bombs at targets in the Sumy region.
The Russian invaders also used an X-31 anti-aircraft missile during the attack.
"Unfortunately, there are also Shaheds that attacked the north of the country and the city of Kryvyi Rih. They hit certain objects. According to local authorities, there were no casualties," added Ihnat.
