The General Staff stated this in the morning report.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled about 70 attacks in 5 areas where Russia is conducting offensive operations

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

Yesterday, on February 24, Ukrainian defenders repelled about 70 enemy attacks in these areas.

At the same time, the Defense Forces destroyed one Mi-24 attack helicopter and four enemy UAVs (1 Orlan-10, 1 Zala and 2 Lancet-3).

Ukrainian aviation conducted 20 strikes on the areas where invaders' personnel and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 2 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems at firing positions.

Ukraine’s artillery and rocket launchers hit a command post, 2 areas of enemy manpower concentration and 3 ammunition depots.

Invading Russian forces carried out 27 air strikes and 75 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems in Ukraine over February 24

The occupying Russian troops carried out 27 air strikes and fired 75 times from multiple launch rocket systems. Once again, cities, villages and civilians suffered.

The threat of enemy missile attacks remains high across Ukraine.

Russians offer Mariupol bombing victims housing on the city outskirts that cannot be obtained without documents, occupying forces continue to confiscate local residents' property in Kherson region, and Russian mobilization continues in Chechnya

The military reported that, having destroyed more than 80% of the housing stock in Mariupol, Donetsk region, the enemy offers the victims of these bombings to get housing in new buildings on the outskirts of the destroyed city.

However, the Russian occupiers cynically impose a mandatory condition: the availability of documents that, according to their calculations, were lost during the bombing.

In the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, Russian invaders are searching houses and seizing boats and other watercraft.

The General Staff recalled that such actions were previously taken before the withdrawal from the right-bank part of Kherson region and for sabotage activities.

Forced mobilization continues in the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation. To prevent possible desertion of those mobilized from the front or sabotage, on February 23 this year, up to 200 additional police officers from the Akhmat special forces regiment were sent to the Bakhmut direction.

The situation in different regions of Ukraine is as follows:

The operational situation in the northern and northeastern Ukrainian borders with Belarus and Russia remained unchanged.

The enemy continues to maintain a military presence near the state border of Ukraine, training its reserves, but no signs of offensive groups have been detected.

At the same time, during the day, the enemy fired mortar and artillery shells at 1 locality in Chernihiv region; 3 in Sumy region, as well as at 23 localities in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation in the area of Masiutivka and to dislodge Ukrainian units from the Serebrianske forest area. They shelled artillery near 17 settlements, in particular, in Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops, making several unsuccessful attacks near 3 localities in Donetsk region. The enemy is actively conducting aerial reconnaissance to adjust artillery fire. 16 localities in the Donetsk region came under fire.

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near 3 settlements. Hostile artillery attacks were registered in 17 localities.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, 20 towns and villages were hit by fire.

In the Kherson direction, 34 settlements of the Kherson region suffered from Russian occupiers' artillery fire.
