Russians shell Mykolaiv: damaging houses, killing and injuring people

On the night of September 14, residents of Mykolaiv heard powerful explosions. The Russian forces have massively shelled houses and businesses in the city.

This was announced by Vitaliy Kim, head of the Regional Military Administration, in Telegram.

"At 01:10 a.m. on September 14, Mykolaiv was shelled. According to preliminary data, it was done by S-300 missiles. An educational institution, infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were damaged, in particular, there was a hit near the nine- and five-story buildings. Also due to hitting the territory of enterprises, a fire broke out in a production building and a car caught fire," he wrote.

According to preliminary data, two people were killed, three were injured, and three citizens were treated on an outpatient basis. Detailed information is being clarified.

Earlier, Oleksandr Sienkovych, the mayor of Mykolaiv, reported about shelling in Telegram: "Today, at 01:00 a.m., Mykolaiv was massively shelled. Residential buildings were also damaged."

Emergency crews and utility services work at the sites of shelling. Some streets are being cleared for public transport.

At 01:11 a.m., in Mykolaiv and the in the region there was an air raid alert, residents were urged to take shelter due to the explosions.

The Mykolaiv region was also shelled on September 13 and 14.

So, at 11:30 p.m. On September 13, there were shellings of the village of Chervonyi Yar. At 8:34 p.m., the Berezneguvate station was shelled. Also at 11:50 p.m. there was a shelling on the outskirts of Berezneguvate. Information about the consequences is being clarified. There are no casualties.

Shelling of Shyrokivska community also continues. On September 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., shelling was heard mainly outside the community's settlements, agricultural buildings were hit. Agricultural buildings were also damaged as a result of shelling in the villages of Polyana and Chervona Dolyna.

On September 13, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Shyroke was also shelled. As a result, one residential building was destroyed. There are no casualties. On the morning of September 14, from 05:30 to 05:45 a.m., there was shelling outside the village of Shyroke.

In Voznesenskyi and Pervomaiskyi districts, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
