Russians shell Kharkiv hitting park and industrial object
Late in the evening of February 7, Russians hit an industrial facility and the Central park in Kharkiv
Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on the morning of February 8.
Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov specified that 4 missiles, preliminarily S-300, hit the center of Kharkiv yesterday around 11:00 p.m.
"A civil industry object was hit. Buildings were destroyed, a major fire broke out. The Central city park was also affected. Fortunately, no victims. We are currently eliminating the consequences of the shelling," he wrote.
At 11:30 p.m. on February 7, Syniehubov reported: "Enemy missiles targeted the Kharkiv center."
Serhiy Melnyk, the head of the Kharkiv garrison, wrote on his Telegram channel that the S-300 missiles were launched from Belgorod.
