Russians destroy over 1,000 multi-storey buildings in Mariupol, now report providing 80 mortgages - city council deputy
Dmytro Zabavin, a member of the Mariupol City Council, noted that the Russian-installed authorities announced the launch of a preferential mortgage program in the so-called "DPR"
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The invaders announced the launch of a preferential mortgage in the so-called 'DPR.' And they proudly reported that 80 loans had already been issued under the preferential mortgage program and that this was a great achievement. Let me remind you that they destroyed over 1,000 multi-storey buildings in Mariupol. That is, the Russians destroyed the homes of several thousand Mariupol residents. More than 200,000 residents of Mariupol were forced to leave their homes and leave the city, rejecting the Russian occupation. And those who stayed are living in difficult conditions, having no money for food, let alone a mortgage," Zabavin emphasized.
The deputy of the Mariupol City Council also added that as a result of the storm, there is no power supply or heating in occupied Mariupol, and some areas have no gas supply.
"The occupiers are not even able to cope with the recent storm. And the water supplied to Mariupol is unsuitable for consumption. But Mariupol residents are forced to drink it because better water costs money that people don't have," Zabavin said.
- On November 29, the Mariupol City Council reported that Russian terrorists had illegally detained and are trying 25-year-old Mariupol resident Iryna Navalna.
