Dmytro Lykhoviy, a spokesman for the Tavria troops grouping, said this during the telethon.
According to him, the Russian army carried out about 200 attacks with poisonous substances along the contact line in August, which is the responsibility of the Tavria unit.
At the same time, Lykhoviy emphasized that Russia is now particularly active in attacking the Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhia region: 13 chemical discharges were recorded on the contact line on September 4.
"In general, the Russian army is actively using drops from copters, they are reinforcing the work of their artillery and other means of destruction. Yesterday there were more than 200 such drops using more than 300 rounds of ammunition," emphasized the spokesman.
- On September 2, Dmytro Lykhoviy said that there was no reason to believe that Kherson was under threat of land assaults by the Russian forces.
