Russian officer responsible for deaths of 88 Ukrainians declared suspect 

The commander of the 52nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment of the Air Force of the Russian Armed Forces, in collusion with the command, gave orders to launch missiles that resulted in 88 people killed and 240 injured, the Prosecutor General's Office reports.

The investigation established that the colonel was involved in the Tupolev Tu-22M3 bombers' attacks on the Riviera shopping mall in Odesa, a cultural center in Lozova, Kharkiv region, a shopping mall in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, a residential building and a recreation center Godzhi in the village of Serhiyivka, Odesa region, and a residential building in the city of Dnipro.

The Prosecutor's Office notes that the main aim of the Russian attacks is the intimidation of civilians and the attempts to pressure the Ukrainian leadership into making concessions and agreeing for conditions favorable for the terrorist state. It is emphasized that the suspect was fully aware of the destruction and death caused by the missile strikes on densely populated areas of Ukraine. 

"Under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office, a suspicion of the Laws and Customs of War violation was declared to the Russian colonel who ensured the task of X-22 and X-32 missile strikes on civilian objects," the press service reports.
