Russian occupiers take 12 children from boarding school in Kherson region to Crimea
Russian occupiers illegally relocated 12 pupils of the Oleshky boarding school in captured territory of the Kherson region to the temporarily occupied Crimea
Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, reported this on Telegram.
"The occupying authorities of Kherson region continue to violate the UN Convention on the Children’s Rights and the Geneva Convention on the Protection of Civilian Population in Time of War. The illegal director of a children's institution is committing open genocide and deporting children of Ukraine to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," Lubinets wrote.
The ombudsman also received verified information about the regular removal of pupils, aged 9 to 17, from the Oleshky orphanage boarding school to a clinical psychiatric hospital in the Simferopol district.
Lubinets noted that the Russian occupiers confirm such criminal actions with their ill-considered orders. He also published a photo of this order, according to which 12 children are taken to Crimea.
The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights appealed to the law enforcement agencies to record another crime of the Russian Federation.
