Russian Foreign Ministry says negotiations with United States on Ukraine are now impossible 

This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov.

"Avout Ukraine, there is simply nothing to talk about with them. If there is a Ukrainian topic in one context or another, it is all in the genre of the mutual direction of signals, and there can be no dialogue and some negotiations. We have radically opposite positions," he explained.

• Recall that yesterday, November 17, former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi said he wants to persuade Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate and make peace with Ukraine. He's ready to do it before Christmas.

• President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had received signals from Western partners about the desire of Russian leader Vladimir Putin to conduct negotiations and suggested making them public. To which Peskov replied that this was impossible.

• Also, the Kremlin spokesman admitted Russia's involvement in terrorism, saying that the shelling of critical infrastructure in Ukraine is "the consequence of refusing to negotiate with Russia."

• The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, is also sure that Russia is not yet ready for peace in Ukraine.
