Russian Foreign Ministry calls exhumation of bodies of Izyum residents killed by invading Russian forces "staged, as in Bucha"
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the hundreds of local residents killed by the invading Russian forces in Izyum, Kharkiv region, is staged "as in Bucha."
This was stated at the briefing by the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.
"Regarding Izyum: I would like to note that after the regrouping of allied forces in the Kharkiv region, Zelenskyy's regime is trying in every possible way to repeat Bucha's scenario in this city. The same one they tried to write themselves…Now they have learned - according to Hollywood scenarios. In order to avoid punctures, which were invented by the Kyiv regime in Bucha, the remains are being exhumed. But it is not possible to create even what was invented in Bucha," she said.
Zakharova called the exhumation of more than 450 people killed by the invading Russian forces "staged", as well as the existence of torture chambers where the Russian military abused civilians in captured settlements.
According to her, earlier Russia allegedly sent "photographs of real burials, video facts, testimonies, and descriptions" to Western states "in bundles", but there was allegedly no reaction.
