Russian forces storm positions along 7-km frontline near Bakhmut, none of them were lost - Freedom battalion fighter Kryvushchenko
Russian occupiers changed the tactics of assaults near Bakhmut, but after such a battle, the Ukrainian military did not surrender a single position
Andriy Kryvushchenko, deputy company commander of the Freedom battalion of the National Guard, told Espreso.
"The situation is consistently tense, as it has been for the past 8 months, when the enemy has been trying to take Bakhmut. Everyone is well aware that they are not succeeding. However, they have come very close to one of the highways," he said.
According to Kryvushchenko, the fighting is very active there.
"The Russian forces have changed their tactics - for the first time, the enemy simultaneously conducted assault operations along a 7 km frontline, with a distance of 20-30 meters between enemy soldiers. It was all supported by heavy artillery. The active phase of the assault lasted for an hour and the withdrawal of troops took up to three hours. Not a single position was surrendered by Ukrainian soldiers. It was a small victory for us," the soldier summarized.
