Russian defense in Luhansk region is not the most reliable - military expert Kovalenko

Military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko told about this on Espresso.

"If we look at all the footholds, there are three where we can carry out counteroffensive actions - the left-bank Kherson region, Zaporizhzhia region and Luhansk region. Donetsk region is an exclusively defensive foothold," he said.

Kovalenko emphasized that this is not classified information.

"There is a strange thing: for some reason, the Russians are panicky digging in the south, while in the Luhansk region, if we are talking about preparing for defense, to put it mildly, the defense lines are not as reliable. If they are broken through during active operations, the Russians will be forced to flee very quickly up to Starobilsk. There is a rather strange planning of defense actions, but not always the actions of the Russians are a kind of logic and rationalism and can be explained in terms of tactics and strategy," the expert believes.
