Russia has one year of war sustainment left at current intensity — Ukrainian military
Former Aidar Battalion Platoon Commander Yevhen Dykyi believes that by the fall of this year, Russia will run out of many critical types of hardware
He shared this opinion on Espreso TV.
Dykyi estimates that Russia has about a year’s worth of resilience left. He suggests that within a year, the occupying army will lose its combat capability, and the economy could collapse.
"And then they [the Russians – ed.] will run out of 'hardware,' and you can break down which types will disappear first. I’ve personally calculated this, as they say, with a calculator. In short, many critical types of 'hardware' will be depleted by fall. Not yet in terms of manpower—there will be enough people until next year—but recruitment remains a huge problem. Essentially, they can sustain a war at this intensity for about another year. After that, their economy will collapse, and their army will crumble, losing its combat capability," he said.
