Winter clothes and gear: Lithuania provides Ukraine with new aid package
On February 9, a new aid package from Lithuania's Ministry of Defense has arrived in Ukraine, including winter gear and clothing for the Ukrainian military
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.
According to the Lithuanian ministry, the new aid package from Lithuania for the Ukrainian military includes the necessary equipment for winter and tens of thousands of sets of warm clothing.
“We are supplying gear and clothes to tens of thousands of Ukrainian fighters to keep them protected from cold weather while positioned in field conditions. Every package we contribute is also one more step closer to victory,” says Lithuania's Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas.
- On February 4, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense confirmed that it had signed a €1.1 billion contract with NATO to purchase 155 mm artillery shells.
