Ukrainian military to receive over 30,000 DeepStrike drones - Umerov
Ukraine's Defence Forces will receive more than 30,000 DeepStrike attack drones in 2025
This was announced by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.
According to him, the military will receive more than 30,000 DeepStrike drones next year, some of which were financed by international partners by investing in Ukraine's defence industry.
Umerov emphasised that these UAVs can operate autonomously over long distances and hit enemy targets with high accuracy.
‘The Ministry of Defence continues to increase investments in the development of high-tech systems. This not only meets the needs of the frontline, but also supports the defence industry, creates jobs and develops Ukrainian technology. We are demonstrating to the world: Ukraine is capable of innovation and technological independence. Even in times of war, we are developing state-of-the-art production, strengthening our defence capabilities,’ he added.
- Earlier it was reported that participants of Brave1 cluster have been working on creating a Ukrainian analogue of the Chinese UAV. Since June 3 such domestic drones are already in use at the front.
