The Centre for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of anti-Ukrainian fakes and manipulations that the world media launched on 6 June
Espreso TV reported the information.
The Centre for Countering Disinformation published a compilation of fake news and disinformation spread on June 6.
Disinformation: Finnish economist Tuomas Malinen said: "Ukraine has a rougue government that will do anything to ignite a regional war in Europe".
Rebuttal: The economist is trying to present Ukraine's efforts to fight Russian aggression as an escalation of the war, thus discrediting and demonising Ukraine in the eyes of the international community.
Fake: Syrian journalist of Armenian descent Kevork Almassian posted the following Russian fake on his Twitter account X (Twitter): "I just watched this video of Ukrainian soldiers allegedly executing African mercenaries for deserting from the Foreign Legion. A racist comment "your black asses should have stayed in Africa" has been made before the crime."
Refutation: The video in question is another Russian propaganda fake. Earlier, the Centre reported that Rusisa is now actively producing such staged videos to discredit the Ukrainian military and the mobilisation process in Ukraine.
- On June 4, Russian propaganda published a fake news story that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy allegedly became the owner of one of the largest casinos in Europe.
