Ukrainian Armed Forces strike Russian troop concentration in Olenivka
The Armed Forces of Ukraine used Ukrainian multiple-launch rocket systems to conduct a missile strike on a concentration of Russian troops in Olenivka, Donetsk region
The representative of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence Andriy Yusov told Radio Liberty that this is not the first and not the last such attack.
"This is the planned work of the Ukrainian security and defense forces and the effective use of available means. Intelligence on the ground, military intelligence is working to identify places where the enemy is concentrated, manpower and equipment. In this situation, the operation was perfectly worked out, the information was promptly used, and a significant blow was dealt to the enemy," Yusov said.
In response to the question about where intelligence gathers data on the concentration of Russian forces in the occupied territory or planned deployments of Russian forces, Yusov replied: "Information is obtained from several sources to ensure its accuracy and correspondence to reality."
Earlier, the General Staff reported a strike on Olenivka.
According to preliminary data, the strike killed 19 Russian invaders, including the deputy commander of a Russian military unit, and wounded 12 invaders, including the commander of this unit.
