"If we look at Ukrainian politics right now, even those who say elections aren't feasible are still getting ready for them. I'm honestly surprised because I don't see how elections could happen quickly. But at the same time, all the politicians are testing the waters," Bohdanov explained.

The expert is convinced that if Valerii Zaluzhnyi runs in the upcoming elections, he can cover almost half of the electoral field of all other candidates.
“For you to understand, apart from Boyko himself, Arestovych, Razumkov, and sometimes Yulia Tymoshenko are also vying for Boyko's electorate. We have patriots, centrists, and a paternalistic electorate, for which Tymoshenko, Arestovych, and Boyko are fighting. Boyko, as far as I understood, started working with this electorate earlier. There was a statement by Boyko, then a similar statement by Arestovych, and Tymoshenko jumped out with her foreigners. Razumkov hasn't disappeared, and if you look at his publications, he's mimicking Tymoshenko more than anything else. They realize that their electorate has shrunk. If Zaluzhnyi runs for office, he will eat up half of the electoral field. Zelenskyy has his own electoral field, and Poroshenko also has his own electorate. And these politicians need to fight for their own piece of the electorate,” he added.
- The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, says that Ukraine is ready to hold elections immediately after the war with Russia ends and a just peace is established.
On December 18, Politico reported that the Ukrainian government is studying European models of electoral legislation, including online voting, for future elections after the war.
