199 clashes in one day on Russia-Ukraine front: Kursk region sees most Russian attacks

This was reported by Ukraine's General Staff.

Russian forces launched a missile strike on Ukrainian positions and settlements, firing four missiles. They carried out 51 airstrikes, including 75 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, there were over 4,300 attacks, 89 of which involved multiple rocket launch systems, and around 1,800 kamikaze drones were used.

Russia airstrikes were reported near Vovchanski Khutory (Kharkiv region), Serhiivka, Terny, Ivanivka, Fedorivka, Riznykivka, Vyimka, Serebryanka, Vasyukivka, Pazeno, Romanivka, and Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk region).

In the past 24 hours, missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit six areas where Russian personnel, weapons, and equipment were concentrated.

Frontline update

Kharkiv direction: Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk four times, using attack aircraft.

Kupyansk direction: Ukrainian forces repelled assaults near Petropavlivka and Lozova after five Russian attacks.

Lyman direction: Russian troops launched 21 attacks with active use of aircraft, targeting Zelenyi Hai, Terny, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, and the Serebryanka Forest.

Siversk direction: Nine Russian assaults were stopped near Hryhorivka, Bilohorivka, Siversk, and Verkhniokamyanske.

Kramatorsk direction: Three combat clashes occurred near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

Toretsk direction: Russian forces launched seven attacks with bomber aircraft targeting Toretsk.

Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian defenders halted 38 Russian offensives near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Novovasylivka, Pishchane, Novoolenivka, Novopustynka, Chumatske, Ukrainka, Sukhyi Yar, and Novoyelyzavetivka.

Kurakhove direction: Ukrainian Defense Forces pushed back 28 Russian attacks, primarily near Dachne, Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Kurakhove, and Yantarne.

Vremivka direction: 27 Russian assaults targeted Ukrainian positions near Konstiantynopolske, Sukhi Yaly, Storozheve, Novosilky, Temyrivka, Novopil, and Novodarivka.

Hulyaipole direction: No active Russian operations were recorded.

Orikhiv direction: Ukrainian forces repelled three Russian attacks near Novoandriivka, Orikhiv, and Novodanylivka.

Kherson direction: Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units four times.

Kursk direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled 49 Russian attacks. Russian forces shelled approximately 500 times, launched eight airstrikes, and dropped 10 guided aerial bombs.

Along the Belarus border, no signs of Russian offensive group formation were observed.

On the Chernihiv and Sumy borders, Russian forces shelled Ukrainian settlements from their territory.

• In the past day, the Russian military lost 1,580 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed several pieces of Russian equipment, including four tanks.
