On Wednesday, December 18, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong arrived in Kyiv for an official visit

Ukrainian Ambassador to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko announced this.

“I was delighted to welcome Foreign Minister Penny Wong to Kyiv this morning. It will be a busy day of meetings and discussions,” the diplomat wrote on social media platform X.

  • As part of a $245 million military aid package to Ukraine in October, Australia provided Kyiv with 49 Abrams tanks decommissioned from its arsenal.
