What is known about martial law and mobilization in Ukraine
Martial law is a special legal regime that is introduced in the country or in certain areas in the event of armed aggression or threat of attack, threat to state independence and territorial integrity. It was first introduced at 5:30 a.m. on February 24, 2022, for a period of 30 days. It was then repeatedly extended.
The last time, on May 9, Zelenskyy signed bills extending martial law and general mobilization for 90 days, i.e. until August 11.
