Ukraine secures 3-month head start after Russian arsenal attacks delay major shelling - military expert
Military expert Ivan Stupak believes that the Ukrainian army saved Ukraine's infrastructure this winter by attacking Russian ammo depots
He shared this insight on Espreso TV.
"Various estimates suggest that after the first ammunition depot was destroyed in the Tver region, Ukraine gained a significant advantage for about 2-3 months, preventing large-scale shelling of our infrastructure and border areas. The enemy typically prefers to use North Korean missiles and possibly Iranian missiles, along with guided aerial bombs. After destroying these warehouses, I suspect we’ve gained more than three months of head start," the military expert explained.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces protected the country’s infrastructure this winter with targeted strikes on enemy depots.
"We were forewarned and understood that the Russians would concentrate on Ukraine's infrastructure during the winter. I believe this is how we managed to save the situation. These won’t be the last explosions in Russia; they will continue, especially aimed at locations housing Iskanders and Iranian missiles. By the way, while we see the explosions of ammunition, we often overlook how many personnel may have been killed as a result of these strikes. Not to mention that various loading and heavy equipment were also taken out of action," Ivan Stupak summarized.
