"In the central part of the Kupyansk sector, the situation remains consistently challenging, with the enemy maintaining constant pressure. Due to their advantage in equipment and weapons, Russian forces have achieved localized successes. In some areas, they have made significant progress and advances. The enemy is also relentlessly shelling the entire Kupyansk community, targeting every settlement and destroying critical and civilian infrastructure daily, including private homes, apartment buildings, shops, and pharmacies. This destruction has continued for three years," Besedin stated

Despite all this, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are successfully repelling Russian forces, destroying both Russian personnel and equipment, in particular, he noted.

"Ukrainian defenders have recently destroyed over 50 units of enemy equipment. We are striving to be a reliable rear guard, supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces by providing everything they need, while they are doing everything to stop the enemy from seizing our territories," Besedin added.

• On October 3, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that 14 Russian attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector over the day. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the assault near Synkivka, Andriivka, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.
