Russian forces drop explosives on civilian car in Kherson, injuring 4 people
On the afternoon of September 17, the Russian occupation army dropped explosives from a UAV on a civilian car. Four people were injured as a result of Russian attack
The press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this.
The incident took place in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson.
‘As a result of the explosive drop, a 63-year-old man sustained an explosive injury, multiple shrapnel wounds to his limbs and chest. His condition is assessed as serious,’ the Regional military administration said in a statement.
‘The 33-year-old woman was diagnosed with an explosive injury and contusion,’ it added.
Both civilians were taken to hospital for medical care.
Later, Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, clarified that two more people were injured as a result of the drone explosion.
‘A 45-year-old woman was injured. She suffered explosive and closed head injuries, contusion. Doctors provided her with the necessary assistance on the spot. At the time the Russians dropped the explosives from the drone, she was indoors,’ he wrote.
According to him, a 53-year-old man also sustained concussion, blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. The wounded man was hospitalized.
