Russian aircraft destroyed at Belbek airfield: military expert gives number
Russians are still counting their losses caused by the Ukrainian military at the Belbek airfield on January 31, says Ivan Stupak, a military expert and former SBU officer
He said this on Espreso TV.
"We know for sure that at least 3 Su aircraft were destroyed, this information was publicly available in Russia. Also, 12 servicemen who were at this airfield were killed. Several other aircraft were damaged, but this information is questionable. That is, these 3 aircraft will not take off again, they will not terrorize the frontline regions, they will not drop guided bombs on the positions of the Ukrainian military," emphasized Stupak.
The military expert added that 7 elite Russian military intelligence officers were killed at another location in Crimea.
"In other words, the Russians are still counting their losses caused by the Ukrainian military. And this is a serious blow to the enemy. Now our military will feel a little calmer, because they are not being targeted from the air," said Stupak.
- On January 31, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, and the Russians announced the operation of air defense.
