Russia reports downing 41 drones over 6 regions, damaged power plant near Oryol
Russia's Ministry of Defence said that on the night of Monday, July 29, its air defence system allegedly destroyed over 40 drones over six regions. In particular, a power substation in the Oryol region was damaged as a result

According to the report, air defence systems allegedly intercepted and destroyed 39 drones, including 19 drones in Kursk region, 9 drones in Belgorod region, 5 drones in Bryansk region, three drones in Voronezh region and 3 drones in Leningrad region.
In addition, the governor of the Oryol region, Andrey Klychkov, says that two more "enemy" drones were shot down over the Glazunovsky district.
According to him, this caused damage to a power plant, but there were no casualties.
- Earlier, Ukrainian drones hit the Polevaya oil depot in Russia's Kursk region on the night of 28 July. Powerful explosions were also heard near the power substation.
